The Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945 is an updated version of the famous watch that includes a transparent sapphire dial which reveals the inner workings of the watch, a classic dating back nearly seven decades.
The watch's previously opaque dial is now transparent sapphire that has been treated with surface metallization, giving it a pleasing smoky appearance. This design not only reveals the watch's workings but also provides a sense of depth.
The Girard-Perregaux Vintage 1945 Large Sate and Moon-Phases is available in either stainless steel or pink gold with a black alligator strap. The stainless steel version costs $16,000 while the pink gold watch will set you back $33,800. Both watches boast a 46-hour power reserve and are water resistant up to depths of 30 meters.
