Online Gift-Givers

Pick a Location on Google Maps and Send a Present with 'Gift a Stranger'

If you’re feeling generous, "spread a little bit of happiness in the world" with the Gift a Stranger web app and put a smile on someone’s face. Well, a smile or a confused look because this site lets you send presents to complete strangers using addresses found on a Google Map.

Created by communications agency Happiness Brussels, the website shows global locations of gift receivers and givers. Past presents range from cards and iPhones to even a "creepy picture of my fifth cousin who was canonized." I could use a little gift myself, but as for now the Gift a Stranger site doesn’t explain how to list your own address yet.
