The 'Narl' is a Giant Chair That's Covered in Feather-Like Cushions

The 'Narl' is a giant chair, relatively speaking, designed by by Carl Durkow of Drexel University. The chair was presented at the New York city ICFF fair -- which featured a number of unique luxury furniture products.

For the Narl chair, Carl Durkow covered a spherical base that has a large indent in it with small thin cushions that look like feathers. The indent of the chair makes it look like a welcoming place to relax, with its sides enveloping you in a haven of soft fleece and its circular structure allows it to function as a rocking chair as well. With its wonderfully bizarre appearance, the Narl adds an element of eccentricity to any space, however its light gray material does not make it too overpowering.
