This is a great gadget for any hardcore fan of the "Katamari Damacy" game for the PlayStation 2. This young tech-savvy inventor was able to build her own life-size Katamari from parts of an optical mouse, a couple of PS2 controllers, a mirror ball, and her own roughly-designed circuit board.
