The Gecko Tracker Uses Motion Sensors to Track Wandering Objects

The Gecko tracker is an innovative device that can be connected to your smartphone to detect anything from motion to lost or wandering objects. Developed by Wizardry Designs and currently an Indiegogo campaign, the Gecko tracker is an adhesive motion sensor about the size of a quarter that has a GPS system built in.

The detection feature ensures that once an object has been tagged, the user can press the corresponding receiver to find the object. The tracker, which can be stuck on to anything from a phone to a dog's collar, also comes installed with a remote music control system, a motion detector that alerts you if someone has moved your bag that is out of sight, a pillbox reminder to signal if someone has remembered to take their medication, and a camera trigger. A consistent beeping sound ensures that users are aware that any reminder or notice is just a finger tap away.
