Architectural Oddity

Was Antoni Gaudi a Nut or Genius?

We are all impressed by the architectural marvels that are planned for around the world. However, some designs are so cutting edge, that the architects who create them are questioned to be 'nuts or genius'.

Antoni Gaudi, featured here, was one of those questioned architects. Like so many recognized artists, Gaudi was an average student. Accordingly, the instructor who signed his diploma put him in the “nut or genius” class.

In my opinion, saying that Antoni Gaudi is a builder is like saying Picasso was a graffiti artist. Gaudi was an eccentric architect that had an amazing influence on his hometown of Barcelona.

Gaudi was a risk taker for sure and each work he has completed evokes many emotions.
