Medieval Metal Ballets

This Graceful Game of Thrones Dance Performance is Set to Metal Music

Given the popularity of the HBO television program, it was only a matter of time before someone choreographed a Game of Thrones dance.

Brutal Ballet is a classical ballet company that fuses the grace and femininity of ballet with the hard, masculine qualities of the metal musical genre. The troupe was clearly inspired by the epic fantasy series as they mounted a Game of Thrones dance performance. In a video clip, Brutal Ballet Founder Bridie Mayfield and other dancers can be seen practicing to a metal version of the Game of Thrones opening theme. Photos on their Facebook page also show the performance itself, complete with house sigil banners and medieval themed costumes.

The elegance of ballet is not only offset with metal music, but with the violent nature of the show.
