There's something fun and "fishy" going on at The Pearl Hotel, San Diego. This new 23-room boutique property opens on August 30th. Attached are photos of two guest rooms and an image of Greta the Goldfish, who's been getting a lot of attention. Since this hip hotel has limited grounds, it can't play host to dogs. However, as a compromise, a tropical fish in each room is kind of cool, don't you think?
Apparently, Greta the Goldfish has been singled out as the Grand Dame of the in-room aquatic life that resides in wall-hanging fishbowls. Each tropical fish, in each room, has its own nameplate to complete a whimsical way of adding pet friendliness, while also referencing The Pearl's close proximity to San Diego Bay.
