Spicy Buttermilk Chicken Sandwiches

Fuku is the New Fried Chicken Sandwich Joint from David Chang

The latest venture from Momofuku's David Chang, Fuku is a recently opened spicy fried chicken sandwich joint in New York City's East Village. Hoping to create the next fast food brand. Chang returns to his roots by opening Fuku in the same space he opened the first Momofuku Noodle Bar.

The signature sandwich at Fuku is a delicious spicy dish that includes staples from Chang's impressive repertoire, including a butter that features the flavor of fermented chickpea. The signature sandwich will be served on a steamed potato roll, while the chicken itself is sourced from a small network of sustainable farms. The chicken is marinated in habanero puree, coated in buttermilk, soaked in a spice blend and then deep-fried.
