Bedside Outdoor Concertos

The Haagen-Dazs Dolce Heavenly Concert (UPDATE)

What flavor of Häagen-Dazs ice cream goes with violin music while you are watching a live performance in bed? Häagen-Dazs had a two-day event called 'Dolce Heavenly Concert' in Tokyo and offered unlimited ice cream in lavish beds to concertgoers. Russian violinist Anastasia Chenotareva provided the live music while the audience cuddled, napped and nibbled on ice cream.

"We tend to think people should sit up and listen somberly at a classical concert," said event spokesperson Izumi Kimura. "We think it would be better if people could relax by lying on a bed and having tasty ice cream."
