Canned Gas Masks

Francesco Biagini's Shield+ Provides 15 Minutes of Fresh Air

Designer Francesco Biagini is trying to make it easier to survive a fire with his new design, Shield+. Shield+ is a canned gas mask that provides up to 15 minutes of fresh air once deployed.

Shield+ isn't much to look at, but I do love the idea of a simple gas mask that can be placed inside buildings. Personally, I would like to see Francesco Biagini's design placed side-by-side with the fire extinguisher. I take fire safety very seriously.
