Effervescent Design Galleries

The Fragile Gallery is a Space of Abundance

Alessandro and Francso Mendini abandoned their signature minimalist aesthetic when creating their latest space, the Fragile gallery.

Upon entry, visitors are greeted with pink and green walls, and that's only the beginning of this extravagant space, which was designed in collaboration with Studio Pepe. Beyond the walls, the floors are a multicolored jigsaw puzzle design, offset by white lattice railing. The gallery feels like walking into another dimension; one that thrives on color and excess, and doesn't feel the responsibility or weight of restraint.

Inside, the gallery features work from celebrated Italian artists, such as Franco Albini, Gio Pont and Gio Sarfatti. These mid-century talents are exhibited among contemporary designs and displays of vintage jewels.
