This Rustic Dwelling Uses Recycled and Repurposed Construction Materials

British design firm Invisible Studio has unveiled its latest forest cabin, and this particular offering is one of the most eco-friendly ones out there thanks to its liberal use of recycled and repurposed materials.

This forest cabin, which goes by the name of Trailer (Equivalent #2), is sheathed in steel and fiberglass, and comes fitted with second-hand skylights as well as a raised structure by way of floor-bound stilts. Elsewhere, the cabin features a utility-first design that prioritizes comfort and shelter from the elements above all else, although the plywood walls give this dwelling a rustic charm while also respecting the aesthetics of the surrounding woods.

What's more, you can even make one of these forest cabins on your own as Invisible Studio has indicated a willingness to share its designs, making this a socially beneficial project in addition to a novel design achievement.
