Thanksgiving Food Typography

This Food Font by Casey Ligon is Made Out of Thanksgiving Leftovers

While some are out there hunting for Thanksgiving leftover recipes, others are using them for more artistic purposes -- such as creating a food font. Designed by letterer Casey Ligon, the Thanksgiving food type is more than typography. The delicious and delightful food font spells out slides used at an all-employee staff meeting.

Made out of turkey stuffing, nuts, mashed potatoes, gravy and apple pie, the typography uses classic Thanksgiving food staples. These images were made as a deck for a meeting at the ad agency Ligon works at. The November slide deck was an opportunity to explore fun content made entirely from Thanksgiving themed food. As such the visual treat has messages like 'New Hires.'
