KP Snacks Flow Wrapping Process Has Been Updated

The KP Snacks flow wrapping process has been given an update by the brand to aid in its reduction of plastic use and packaging tonnage overall. The brand has announced the packaging update for its Discos, Frisps and Roysters products, and will see a 35% reduction in plastic packaging use for the various six packs. This will see 100-tons of packaging saved on an annual basis, while also reducing the number of vehicle trips needed to ship the same number of products.

Packaging Technology Manager John Leslie spoke on the updated KP Snacks flow wrapping process saying, "Protecting the environment is one of the core pillars of our People and Planet program, and we are committed to taking a responsible and proactive approach to safeguarding nature. We remain focused on reducing both our plastic packaging and carbon emissions in any way that we can."
