USB Floppy Disks

Reinvented Retro Gadgets

Do you remember the floppy disks that used to be the haven of important data before? These days, it's hard to see them being used anymore simply because of their relatively low storage capacity compared to newer flash drives.

But with designer Thomas O'Connor's recycled creation, floppy disks can rejoin your computer repertoire. He redesigned the floppy disk as a USB flash drive which can store GBs of data, not MBs as in its previous iteration. Unlike conventional diskettes, this floppy disk doesn't need to be inserted in the CPU drive; instead, it is plugged into the USB drive and it stands next to the computer or laptop using its built-in stand.
