The Floated House is aptly named. Full of floor-to-ceiling windows that offer a 270 degree view of its landscapes all around, it looks as though it simply dropped from the heavens. Located in the gorgeous country of Sri Lanka, it's no wonder that the family owing this piece of land wanted something that appreciated the stunning vista.

Designed by KWA Architects, the Floated House is topped with a concrete roof and finished with overflowing gardens of wild vegetation and flowers as well as a lower level meant for agriculture. Although on the smaller side, the Floated House has an expansive feeling since the surroundings add an airiness that makes it feel open as though people were living outdoors.
