Modern Magnetized Lighting

The Float Chandelier Looks Like It is Being Held Together with Magic

The Float Chandelier could easily be dubbed the Magic Chandelier for all intents and purposes. The LED lights are attached to ropes that shoot straight out from the top and bottom for a mirrored effect even though they are not attached to anything. This is made possible through the use of magnets. Essentially, the core of the Float Chandelier is metal and the LEDs have embedded with magnets that interact with each other.

Designed by Danny Giannella and Tammer Hijazi of New York design studio Bower, the Float Chandelier is visually striking, with an almost otherworldly feel about it. As though breaking the laws of physics, it remains frozen in time while still shedding much-needed illumination.
