This device features an expansive interface panel with three USB 3.2 ports, two USB-C ports, and two thunderbolt ports. The Flex 1U4 is compatible with a wide range of storage drives. Its hot-swappable storage bays support 2.5-inch or 3.5-inch SATA/SAS drives or U.2/M.2 NVMe drives.

The OWC Flex 1U4 has an easy RAID setting manager with OWC 'SoftRAID' technology, meaning users can ensure the protection of the data on their drives if one drive fails. Additionally, this docking solution is compatible with keyboards, mice, cameras, displays, audio-capture devices, and up to 10Gb ethernet networking.
