Fleet Feet Joins Forces with Cooldown

Fleet Feet positions itself to be the largest franchisor of locally owned specialty running stores with nearly 290 locations across 40 states. Recently, the company entered into a strategic partnership with Cooldown, a fast-growing social run community operating in 18 cities across the United States and Toronto. The goal of this collaboration is to make running more accessible, social, and supported for a new generation of runners.

Under the agreement, Fleet Feet will serve as Cooldown's official retail partner. It will provide members with personalized footwear outfittings, expert gear recommendations, and access to fitting experts. The two businesses will also collaborate on in-person experiences such as group runs, product education events, fit nights, and community gatherings designed to deepen engagement and help runners feel more confident.

At the outset, the partnership will launch in select markets including Boulder, Charleston, Denver, and New York City, with plans to expand to additional markets over time. This venture comes just in time for Fleet Feet’s 50th anniversary celebration.
