The Flare 'Into the Deep' Editorial Stars Meagan Callen

Inspired by the blue sea and the creatures that might reside in its depths, the Flare 'Into the Deep' editorial is shimmeringly surreal and romantically enticing. As though shot in the ocean, a soft light floats around model Meagan Callen, who herself has been transformed into a sparkling mermaid that would put the beauty of Disney's Ariel to shame.

Captured by New York- and Toronto-based Canadian photographer Chris Nicholls, the Flare Into the Deep editorial is set to appear in the June 2012 issue of the magazine. The blonde beauty was styled by fashion editor Fiona Green in cool colors, frothy ruffles and shimmering sequins. The oceanic theme was perfected by beauty artist Tony Masciangelo who concentrated on tousled locks and braids as well as pink lips and vibrant eyeshadows.
