Not all helmets look completely geeky as the Flame Frame proves. Unfortunately for you, this particular helmet is an actual art piece rather than a wearable and protective headgear. Granted, looking at it more closely, the Flame Frame doesn't look very protective at all.
Created by artist Masataka Kurashina, the Flame Frame is named so because of the flame pattern that has been cut away from the helmet. This pattern as well as the helmet's overall shape gives it a very retro feel.
A limited edition sculpture, the Flame Frame is available in two colors: black and white. Priced at $890, each one is also signed by the designer and comes in a specially created box. It was created in collaboration with TOKYO CULTUARTS by BEAMS.
