Macy’s Implements FIT:MATCH Bra Fitting Technology in its Stores

This Christmas season, FIT:MATCH will introduce its bra-fitting service in select Macy's stores, allowing consumers to get scanned and matched to their perfect bra size without leaving the store. A customer will be able to use a gadget with LiDAR technology to perform a body scan while receiving guidance from a store employee to use FIT:MATCH. The customer's distinct body form data is then analyzed by proprietary technology to match them with their "digital twin" from a database.

After customers are shown their product matches in suggested sizes and fashions that have been shown to work with their digital twin. Customers can store and purchase matches on their smartphones by scanning a QR code.

"As part of our Polaris strategy, Macy’s is enhancing the store experience with personalisation and innovation to better meet the needs of our customers," says PJ Singh, Macy’s Vice President of Stores Strategy and Product Management.
