Novel Art Ads

The Filigranes Librarie Campaign Features the Art of Isaac Salazar

The Filigranes Librarie campaign puts the novel art fad to good use. While this ad is not as shocking as the bookstore's previous ad campaign, which involved some very compromising positions with cockroaches, it is imaginative.

Conceived and executed by Brussels-based ad agency Air, the Filigranes Librarie campaign features some classic emotional responses such as 'Snif,' 'Hahaha!' and 'Aaah!' Through these exclamations, the Filigranes Librarie campaign offers some examples of why people read books, only to then pose the question, "And you, why do you read?"

The Filigranes Librarie campaign's art direction was by Antoinette Ribas and it was photographed by Marc Paeps with artwork by Isaac Salazar, who is known for his Book Origami series.
