The FFdesk Incorporates a Little Shelf That Drops Down from Its Top

The FFdesk by Frida Forsman embodies a bit of minimalism with a twist, flaunting a fetching assembly from lovely pale wood. Unusually, it features a unique storage ledge beneath the writing surface that was actually formed by bending the timber tabletop downwards.

The smooth horizontal plane of the escritoire was maintained with the addition of another panel, recovering its useful surface area. You cannot easily discern this smooth joint when you're looking at the furnishing from a few paces away, making the lovely leather accent a particularly intriguing element. Inspired by upholstered dining chairs, the FFdesk by Frida Forsman has this hide writing pad in the middle. It continues down to cover the base of the open shelf.
