A Super-Rare 1964 Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale is Hitting the Auction Block

The 1964 Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale was a car ahead of its time. Now, one of only three existing specimens of the car is set to go for auction and spark a fierce bidding war. It is believed that the other two specimens are highly unlikely to ever be made available for sale.

This hand-built vehicle was equipped with ultra-lightweight aluminum bodywork. It was fitted with a 3.3-liter V12 engine that pumped out an impressive 320 horsepower. The engine was hooked up to a 5-speed manual gearbox that worked with a four-wheel independent suspension set-up.

The Ferrari 275 GTB/C Speciale, which features a distinct long nosde, was painted in a tasteful two-tone grey, giving it a classy minimalist feel.

The car will be put to auction by RM Auctions in Monterey, California on August 15.
