LA it Down is a Landscape-Heavy Series of Photos

LA it Down is a collaboration between photographer Lyn Averson and stylist Amanda Tan. Lyn was inspired by the landscapes to do a LA/Hollywood shoot. The styling of the shoot captures the modern Hollywood fashion to the vintage. It features classic landscapes of the Hollywood signs as well as palm trees to the open lands and driveways that makes it unique.

Choosing to do the shoot in a studio with the images projected on a screen instead of outdoors, the photographer hoped to bring across a softer, nostalgic vibe to the shoot. The lack of color of the environment compliments the old Hollywood vibe, as well as making the viewer focus solely on the model and the clothes.
