Marriott International is taking its Female Leadership Initiative (FLI) to new heights, expanding its reach across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Recently, the program was launched in Jordan, designed to empower exceptional female leaders with personalized development opportunities to advance their careers.
The launch event in Amman featured Professor Wejdan Abu Elhaija, HRH's Advisor for Academic Affairs at the Royal Scientific Society and the President of Princess Sumaya University for Technology, alongside senior leaders from Marriott International. Twenty-six high-potential female leaders from Marriott properties in Jordan, Kuwait, and Lebanon participated in sessions focusing on inspiring and driving impact as women in leadership roles, identifying and leveraging their strengths, and enhancing leadership presence.
As part of the program, attendees will create individual development plans guided by dedicated mentors. They will also benefit from ongoing networking opportunities, eCornell courses, and insights from guest speakers through fireside chats and roundtable discussions.
