Winged Eco Vehicles

The Felix Concept Car is Charged by the Earth Below it

Despite its airborne appearance, the Felix Concept Car is quite at home on the earth. The cutting-edge idea behind this automobile exploits the charge of the soil below its wheels as a means to harness energy for its engine.

The electric vehicle is inspired by a more environmentally friendly approach to transportation, the unique properties of dirt, lightning and electricity and the compelling constitution and movement of a crab. The conveyance has a familiar set of four wheels, but aims to in many ways deviate from the conventions of automotive design.

It isn't totally clear how the Felix Concept Car will work, but Ali Cam has provided a collection of impressive-looking computer renderings. With a sleek silver shell, a crisscrossed chassis and a futuristic blue glow, this is one eco vehicle that already astonishes.
