Patterns Take on a New Meaning in Malika Favre's Hide and Seek

Malika Favre, Illustrator extraordinaire, is at it again with a London-based art exhibit that she refers to as 'Hide and Seek.'
Favre is known for her minimalist approach to illustrating and all the designs in her recent collection of art depict that. Favre uses bland patterns that have lost their vigor to stand out as the premise for her Hide and Seek design.

Thrown into the mix of these black and white screen prints are illustrated females who peek out from the solid-colored lines, or cling to the diagonal slants. The girls represent the only color within the whole collection and their discovery becomes a fun and enticing game. Malika Favre's Hide and Seek lets old patterns become fresh and exciting again and reinterprets space as the area between the lines.
