Fast Food Couture Collections

These Design Students Created Clothing from McDonald's Packaging

This fast food couture collection was created entirely out of McDonald's packaging by students of Miami International University of Art and Design.

On Thursday, the students presented their collection of fast food couture at 'Miami Swim Week.' The show included 20 looks, each made of packaging donated by a South Florida McDonald's franchise. The fashion show was the result of a competition in which the students had the chance to win a $5,000 scholarship. The winner of the competition made a look featuring box flowers and 7,000 butterflies out of 1,100 sandwich wrappers.

Earlier this week, McDonald's released a collection of clothing celebrating its launch with UberEats. Named the 'McDelivery Collection,' the line will be available for purchase in select cities by UberEats customers.
