The Ksenia Schnaider Spring/Summer 2012 Collection is Religion-Inspired

Religion became inspiration for the Ksenia Schnaider Spring/Summer 2012 collection. Designers from Eastern Europe, where religion has powerful influence in society, make it theme of research for this feature. Monks' robes became one of guideline for the silhouettes and color palette.

Ksenia Schnaider’s Hermit collection is combination of both simplicity and elegance, and it is all about serving beauty and a strong personality. Most of the clothes are unisex and utilitarian. The hues for the collection is dominated by black and white, with the odd hint of red, among a handful of additional, subtle colors. Wide range of materials were used in the collection, such as cotton, lace,  silk, neoprene and jersey, which emphasizes an evident contrast between the past and present.

Ukrainian top model Alla Kostromicheva presented the mood of Ksenia Schnaider collection in shooting for Mercedes-Benz Kiev Fashion Days.
