Alexander McQueen Spring 2009 Collection

Soft and bold colors as well as unique and interesting patterns are combined to adorn Alexander McQueen’s Spring 2009 collection.

In the video above, we learn that McQueen is extremely passionate about our Earth. The first portion of his show consisted of prints from nature and stuffed animals. The second half of the show’s designs were inspired by where our world is at this time--mass technology and global warming--with sharp and edgy designs.

Jill Sherman, from Trend de la Creme, added the unique sea creatures beside McQueen’s fashions shown above to show how they reflect upon nature--did she do an incredible job or what?

I love Alexander McQueen’s Spring 2009 collection but his overall message even more; Mr. McQueen is concerned that if we continue going at our current rate that stuffed animals may be the only ones we have left--I couldn’t agree more.
