The Fashion Gone Rogue 'Old World Circus' Stars is Softly Hued

The Fashion Gone Rogue 'Old World Circus' online editorial takes the common carnival theme and softens it up significantly. Beautiful and romantic, each image looks almost like a painting rather than a photograph. The blurred out edges and blown out lighting add an effect that is more surreal than vintage. Nevertheless, the shoot captures an old world charm.

Shot by New York-based fashion and fine art photographer Xi Sinsong, the Fashion Gone Rogue Old World Circus online editorial stars Wilhelmina Models' Tina. She was styled by Emily Bess, who selected a range of feminine prints and ballet-inspired skirts from designer Samantha Sleeper. The doll-like face by makeup artist Misha Shahzada and tousled curls by Laura Polko helped Tina transform into her circus character while Gary Russell Freeman's prop styling finished it.
