The New York School of Design (NYSD) has announced a new academic collaboration with the University of New York in Prague (UNYP) to introduce the Fashion Design Management Concentration. This dual-credential program merges European business education with American creative practice.
The Fashion Design Management Concentration offering is a 3.5-year, seven-semester pathway that allows students to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration from UNYP alongside a Fashion Design Certificate from NYSD. The curriculum is structured in a way so that foundational and advanced business courses take place in Prague before a pivotal sixth-semester residency at NYSD’s Manhattan campus.
The Fashion Design Management Concentration program is positioned as a response to the fashion industry’s demand for professionals who can navigate both the commercial and artistic sides of the field.
