The images show everything from the shark in Jaws as a harmless wooden prop, ‘Titanic’s’ Rose and Jack floating in the icy waters as they get scene direction and Darth Vader’s fall being cushioned by a pile of pillows at the conclusion of a ‘Star Wars’ movie.
These images remind us of the impact of that famous movie scenes and blockbuster movies can have on popular culture and the impact they make on us. They also show us the amount of production and special effects that go into creating blockbuster movies.
My favorite image from this collection has to be the time-travelling car from ‘Back to the Future.’
