Fake Receipts

FalseExpense.com Enables Scammers & Extortionists

Receipts are no longer an infallible proof of purchase, thanks to FalseExpense.com. This site can replicate nearly any receipt, from the Apple Store to Tiffany & Co., Best Buy and even Toyota.

While FalseExpense.com naturally advises that their replica receipts be used in situations where an actual receipt has been faded or lost, I have a sinking feeling that these fake receipts will be used for more harm than good.

Implications - But on a more positive note, they could be used for some incredible practical jokes. Could you imagine coming home and telling your parents you bought a horse and providing a credit card receipt to prove it? It may not be worth the coronary you could cause, but the reaction of your parents would be memorable.
