Fairytale Finger Flora

Valerie Hammond Twilight

Valerie Hammond’s Twilight: Contes de Fées, will be the featured exhibit at Garson Baker Fine Art in New York, NY, from September 11-October 11.

The phrase "contes de fées" is French for fairy tales—which happen to be Hammond’s inspiration for her beautiful and exquisite art.  She uses glass beads to intertwine hands with ferns and ivy.  Her wax, silk, and wire combination called "Transition", shows a hand evolving into a flower.

All of the fine artwork in Hammond’s Twilight series is stunning—any of them would make a wonderful addition to bring a touch of class and elegance to home decor.
