Fantasy Love Portrayal Art

Alice Chan Creates Interest Between Man and Beast in Her Fairy Tale Art

This enchanting fairy tale art by Alice Chan depicts sexual tension between beast and human. And in this case the beast isn't always a man.

Alice Chan pulls from popular Disney movies such as Beauty and the Beast and The Little Mermaid for inspiration of these wonderful images. In one image she has a massive beast with what appears to be a subservient love slave similar to that of the story of Leia and Jabba the Hutt from Star Wars. Her images may just prove that opposites attract.

I really enjoy the positioning she creates in some of her fairy tale art. The picture of the man and mermaid is brilliantly contrasted even further by the separation of water and air.
