The Factory Fifteen Samsung Promo is Ahead of its Time

The London-based animation studio Factory fifteen recently put together an impressively rendered animated mural that depicts London as both a shimmering city of the future, as well as a depressed dystopia.

The animation, aptly titled, 'Londons,' was produced for Samsung's UK flagship store in Westfields Shopping Centre. It occupies a giant five and a half meter by two and a half meter area, and in doing so proudly and effectively demonstrates the visual prowess of Samsung's new, almost edgeless television models.

Beyond technical details, the animation depicts two cities within one. One represents what Factory Fifteen terms on their Behance page as a "hyper captial." That is, a shining constellation of glass and steel, jutting its way up towards the sky. The other city is comprised of economically depressed suburbs, sprawling their way out in mediocrity.
