Lush's Updated Ocean Salt Scrub is Vegan and Self-Preserving

Lush offers a wide range of unique face-and-body scrubs. Ocean Salt is one of the brand's best-sellers in this category. The beloved formulation recently underwent a make-over and the new formula is gentler than the original and vegan, as well. The new ocean-inspired face-and-body scrub by Lush features "the same base of scrubby sea salt, softening avocado butter and refreshing lime" but it also includes skin-softening silken tofu, mango butter, and japan wax in place of lanolin. Because of the inclusion of these new ingredients, the new face-and-body scrub is self-preserving and it leaves a protective layer on one's skin after rinsing.

Of course, the vegan version of the Ocean Salt Scrub still promises to effectively exfoliate, moisturize, and improve complexion—the benefits that won over consumers in the first place.
