Extra-Security Door Locks

This Door Handle Combines Two Different Security Features

These dual-function door handle provides extra-security for homeowners and offices.

Created by designer Sono Mocci who specializes in security and locks, this door handle forgoes technological methods of security for more traditional but equally effective safety practices. The 'Let Me In' door handle combines a classic bolt lock with a chain lock mechanism -- making it so that the chain is attached to the door handle rather than a separate part of the door. This mechanism provides extra security and is designed so that people are motivated to actually use it when they are locking their doors.

By combining two traditional security measures into one door handle, the designer has created a sleek but functional device that does not need technology to be reliable and encourage safety.
