Created by food network chef Andy Bates, the most expensive kebab includes ingredients often reserved for the more gourmet of dishes. At a cost of £750 the most expensive kabab is served on a silver tray by a private waiter and contains; saffron infused flatbread, champagne infused mint and cucumber yoghurt, micro cress and lettuce salad, chilli sauce made from the world’s expensive chilli, milk-fed lamb from the Pyrenees, gold leaf garnish, ceour de Beouf tomatoes and oregano concass and barrel aged yews feta cheese.

The most expensive kebab was created to mark the launch of a new programme on the Food Network channel that celebrates the growing street food truck trend, called The Great Food Truck Race
