We've featured a number of proposals for urban ecodistricts, but EXP Architects' 'Heudelet 26' for Dijon, France is my favorite by far. There are green rooftops and parks aplenty, but those fixtures are found in any eco-friendly development these days. What I like about EXP Architects' 'Heudelet 26' design is that it explicitly favors mixed-generation and mixed-income housing, catering to the very individuals that make up the majority of most cities.
EXP Architects' 'Heudelet 26' is the first ecodistrict proposal to hit Dijon, France, and ArchDaily says that it will be a model for future developments. I'm fully on board with this plan.
