Bumble Launches 'Ex-Boxes' Pop-ups for a Fresh Start

Bumble, the women-first dating and social networking app, is introducing 'Ex-Boxes' pop-up spaces across the country, providing a unique solution for users looking to declutter their lives from their ex's belongings and start anew.

These 5,000 square foot pop-ups are set to open next month in New York, Austin, and Los Angeles, with plans for global expansion later in the year. The Ex-Boxes will accept a wide range of items, including clothes, shoes, photos, love letters, and even unused miles and future dinner reservations.

A recent Bumble survey revealed that 98% of respondents wished they had a place to dispose of their ex-partner's belongings, while 99% agreed that retaining these items prevented them from moving on. These pop-up spaces aim to help users embrace a fresh start on their dating journey.

All items collected will be donated or recycled in the ex's name, offering a sustainable and empowering solution for Bumble users to let go of the past.
