The Evolution Door is a marvel of contemporary home furnishing. While a door isn't usually the first thing people look to when defining important parts, when done well it can be a 'wow' point in the home. The Evolution Door certainly has that wow factor in spades with it's iconic design.
The Evolution Door was created by Klemens Torggler and comes in two parts. The two parts, that sit on top of one another, rotate in a rolling motion at a slight touch. The door is all black and is designed to look like it has been made in origami style.
The main concern with a flip-panel door such as this one is will it pinch the fingers? The answer to that is no due to the rounded edges and soft sides of the door, safety first after all.
