Erykah Badu for Tom Ford's 'White Patchouli' Perfume

After featuring the iconic fashion designer, Karl Lagerfeld posing as a rapper, we bring you one of hip hop’s most talented artists, Erykah Badu switching roles as a model. Badu stars in the ad campaign for the new women's fragrance, White Patchouli by Tom Ford.

This marks Erykah's first venture into high fashion campaigns. Thankfully, Tom Ford does a 180 degree turn on his recent overtly sexual and controversial ads with classy black and white shots of the beautiful Erykah Badu. The campaign was photographed by the powerful duo of Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

White Patchouli by Tom Ford is set to debut in September 2008.

"White Patchouli is created in cooperation with perfumer of the house of Givaudan and it is mixed as a game of white flowers, patchouli, peony, bergamot, jasmine, rose, coriander and ambrette seed," the Tomfordnl blog says. "The perfume is available in a white glass bottle in three sizes: 30, 50 and 100ml edt, and as body lotion."
