Electronic LED Clocks

The Equinox Clock Uses Both Hands of Light and Dark to Display the Time

The Equinox LED clock by Bram Knaapan is an innovative new way to look at clocks. Instead of using traditional hands the way most clocks do, this clock is open in the center and looks like a big illuminated ring. The clock uses LED lights lining the outside to produce colorful bars that travel around the clock to tell you the time.

The color scheme changes with the time of day, and the clock is also able to light up entirely and use dark spaces (where the LEDs aren't lit up) as the "hands" instead. The Equinox LED clock is difficult to read at first but fantastic to look at once you understand it.
