This series of enhanced vintage photos by Flora Borsi alters famous photos with icons from the past. She effectively does so by manipulating the images to include herself in the background.
The enhanced vintage photos give an idea what these historic photos might look like if cameras were as accessible to everyday people and fans. Flora did a fantastic job of effectively blending herself into each scene and almost creates the illusion that she was meant to be there.
This concept is similar to that used in Doctor Who when the Doctor was captured in multiple photos throughout time. The difference is in the fact that Flora used the addition of a modern camera or camera phone in order to bring in a futuristic element to each piece.
