The Engwe EP-2 Pro Weighs Only 74 Pounds and Fits in a Trunk

The Engwe EP-2 Pro is a powerful foldable electric mountain bike from Engwe. This bike is the first major release from the retailer following its 'Engine Pro' series earlier this year.

The EP-2 Pro features a 960w peak-output brushless gear motor and a set of 160mm mechanical disc brakes. This results in a powerful bike with capable specifications for off-roading and mountain biking that, when operated properly, will keep the rider safe in mountain biking conditions.

The bike is powered by a 48V, 13 Ah lithium battery, which results in up to 74 miles of range in pedal assist mode, or roughly 31 miles of range in throttle-only mode. This battery is also removable, if desired, allowing the bike to be operated as a traditional manual bike. This is an excellent feature given that the bike is foldable and portable, as users may not always require the battery while traveling.
